Vintage Tinplate Friction Space Gun, Yoneya (SY), Japan. AF
A nice vintage tinplate friction drive Space Gun
with blue body and great detailing, including
a nicely lithographed side plate of a space rocket,
made in Japan by the Yoneya (SY) Co.
probably in the 1950’s or 60’s.
Measures 6.5 inches long by 4 inches tall.
Marked with the Yoneya “SY" symbol and
"Made in Japan” on the gun handle.
In good condition with some marks and small dents,
the friction drive works intermittently and would
benefit from some attention, and the flint
needs replacing for the gun to spark.
