Just this morning rescued this beautiful pot from the scrap-yard. This is an original vintage Williams Sonoma, MADE IN FRANCE, large copper pot with lid. Not exactly sure how to measure it but when I filled it to the very top itheld 11 quarts of liquid, so perhaps it is considered a 10 quart? It measures about 6.5\" tall and is bout 11 3/8\" in diameter. The body is hammered and exceedingly thick. The pot itself, not including the lid, weighs about 11 pounds 10 ounces. It is in good shape with normalgeneral wear from age and use, as pictured. There is some wear and darkening to the tin lining, as seen close-up with a flash in the last 2 pics. There are some thin scratches where the copper is exposed. I wonder ifthis is considered a large Dutch Oven? Buyer pays shipping fee based on zip-code. Paypal accepted. PA residents add 6% sales tax.
