Circa 1953 (according to research) York Master Feather Touch professional trumpet. Serial number 183128. This instrument has been cleaned and serviced, all slides move freely and all valves work. It is brass lacquered with a two tone engraved bell. There is age related lacquer loss. The engraving is all readable. There are no major dents but there are a few minor ones. The spit valve corks have been replaced. There are 2 mouthpieces, a Conn 3 & Conn 4 with straight shanks & some nicks & plating loss. This is a hard to find York Feathertouch trumpet with a unique valve system. This system has extension springs in the valves rather than the compression ones. The instrument plays well. The interior of the original case is in very good condition, however, the outside is rough.
