Up for sale with isa Very FineLarge Impressive Georgian or Regency Period Authentic Sheffield Plate Centerpiece Bowl or Serving Basket. The Basket is one of the finer examples I have sold with a very Bold Regency Period form andniceRepousse Scroll designs. The Basket also features a nicely formed Pedestal Base and a wonderful large Bail Handle. The Basket displays beautifully with signs of Copper showing throughout and the Handle showsone old repair thatis only seen upon close inspection. Otherwise the Basket is in excellent condition with no dents, holes or cracks. The Basket is much more impressive in real life measuring 12\" across the top and standing approx 11\" tall to the top of the handle or 4\" tall at the bowl edge. This would make a very nice display or perfect for serving Dinner Rolls, Desserts etc. This is part of a large collection of Silver we have listed this week, be sure to check all our other sales and save greatly with combined shipping !
