Vntg Navajo Zuni Hopi Turquoise Sterling Silver Jewelry Bolo Box Ring Lot of 12Description
This lot of twelve Native American handmade jewelry pieces was created by twelve different artists of Hopi, Zuni, and Navajo (Diné) descent. A lots are final sales. We are only listing them in a lot because we do not have time to list them individually. Each and every piece is in excellent vintage condition with no damage to the Sterling silver, coral, jet, turquoise, or shell and are ready to be worn or resold. This lot is great if you want to form the core of a Native American jewelry collection or as a money maker. The pieces are as described below:
1. Zuni Inlay Sun God Face Pill Box Round: Size - 1\" in diameter x 1-3/8\" tall; Weight - 12 Grams/ over 3/8 Ounce; Materials - Hand stamped Sterling silver, turquoise, jet, and red and white shell. Note: lid fits tightly.
2. Three Bolo Ties:
Early Vintage Zuni Inlay Knifewing: Size - 1-5/8\" in diameter, 1-7/8\" Tips; Weight - 25 Grams / over 7/8 Ounce; Materials - Sterling silver, turquoise, jet, red and white shell, and braided black leather. Note: pre-Bennett slide.
Silver Overlay: Size: 2\" x 1\", 1-5/8\" Tips; Weight - 25 Grams / over 7/8 Ounce; Materials - Sterling silver and braided black leather. Note: Hallmarked \"J. Nelson\" for Navajo Artist, Jerry Nelson and \"Sterling\".
Hopi Overlay Kokopeli calling forth a corn stalk with flute: Size - 1-7/8\" in diameter, 1-7/8\" tips; Weight - 36 Grams / over 1-1/4 Ounces; Materials: Sterling silver and braided black leather. Note: Bennett Pat. Pend. C31 clasp - ca 1957-1967.
3. Seven Rings:
Hopi Overlay Badger Clan: Size: 6 with 1-1/8\" x 5/8\" oval face; Weight - 6 Grams / over 1/4 Ounce; Materials - Sterling silver. Note: Hallmarked with a Rabbit Stick for Hopi artist, Teddie Wadsworth.
Navajo Turquoise Ring: Size: 6-1/2 with a 1-1/2\" x 5/8\" face; Weight - 7 Grams / over 1/4 Ounce; Materials Sterling silver and turquoise. Note: Hallmarked \"J\" for Navajo artist, Jean Dixon.
Five other rings ranging in Size from 4-1/2 to 9; Total weight - 40 Grams / over 1-3/8 Ounces; Materials: all Sterling silver with various stones including turquoise or coral or both.
4. Pair Dangle Earrings with Hopi raincloud motif: Size - 1-1/2\" x 5/8\". Weight (each) - 4 Grams/ over 1/8 Ounce; Materials: Sterling silver. Note: post earrings.
