\"Ginny Series #86\" is acomplete minty Doll.

Never displayed.

There were only 4 different dolls in 1952 of this \"Ginny Series\" ever made. They were all named \"GINNY\" with different numbers but all four called \"GINNY\". Each of these 4 dolls contained a plastic tube of rollers with a plastic cape in the tube that was tied to their wrist. (See page 101 of the purple Collector\'s Encyclopedia of VOGUE dolls Second edition. by Judith Izen and Carol Stover.)

We are offering this adorable fancy doll from our long time collection. She is a Jointed, sleepy eye, strung doll. She has painted lashes & brows, marked Vogue on her back.Original factory, Thick Auburnhair color, with bangs and flip hair style. Her wig is original, never restyled, clean, and shiny.
Ginny #86 has beautiful visible brows and lashes and pink cheeks. She has dark blue eyes and a nicecomplexion, not pale.No scrapes or scuffs.NO green or yellow lashes or brows, No redoing what so ever.

Her stringing is good and she holds a pose well.

Ginny\'s outfit is all original, never laundered and in like new condition, no fading or problems, still a vibrant pink with no snags or spots. She is wearing her pink poodle cloth coat with hook and eye closure at the neck (no Rust). The poodle coat still has the little yellow handkerchief tuck away in her pocket that is often lost over time. On the front of the coat pocket is attached the original unique yellow straw flower with green straw leaves. Her beautiful matching pink tam/beret has excellent elastic holding it on her head and on her hat are TWO more yellow straw flowers that match the one on her coat pocket. SO fancy and wonderfully mint. The coat is tagged \"VOGUE\".

Her dress is white with the same color pink embroidered flowers around the skirt edge as the coats pink color. Pink matching panties with good elastic. The dress is also tagged \"Vogue\".

Ginny has her original clear plastic tube with pink roller and plastic cape tied to her wrist with satin ribbons. The plastic roller case still has the \"Vogue\" silver round tag and the square instructions on how to do Ginny\'s hair attached to the case.

Ginny has on her original pink leatherette oil cloth center snap shoes with the greek snap. They are in nice condition, no repairs. Her anklets are original white color and not discolored.

Ginny is factory original, Clean, never played with and minty condition, I don\'t think you will find a more adorable example. She has no box so she is ready to display.

This Ginny with in her poodle coat set assemble also came in blue and a number different dresses and colors have been found under her coat.
