You\'re offerding on a vintage Royal typewriter, the \"De Luxe\" model - serial number A578650 - complete with case. Introduced in 1935, the A model was a top of the line machine for the time with touch control and other cutting edge functionality. It\'s a great looking machine, with chromed trim, black crackle finish, and black contoured keys with white font. Very nice, clean condition - all the keys work, the bell dings, and there is a label in the case that indicates it was serviced in 1991 - still a long time ago, but relatively recently considering the age, but it should serve as a both a working machine or display piece without having to go to the conservator. Complete including case - case has some scuff and wear - the rubberized feet on the bottom are mostly crumbled, and someone\'s initials are painted on the front in red - but it still has the key and the locks both function perfectly!
