1965 Mattel ~ BERNIE BERNARD ~ Talking Plush Dog * Bernie is still in pretty good condition for being 49 years old!!! * He needs a little cleaning on the white areas and they is a little gray smudge on the rubber face area ~ I will leave the detail cleaning to the new owner! * Bernie still talks - sometimes a little louder, sometimes a little softer ~ I have written down a few of his phrases that I believe he says - most are clear, but others I’m not sure of the word: “ HOLD YOUR HORSE’S - IT’S BERNIE” ~ “ARR ARR I JUST LOVE TO SING” ~ AW-CHEW - I THINK I GOT A COLD” ~ “BURRR - IT’S SNOWING CAT’S & PEOPLE” ~ “I GOT UP HERE NOW HOW DO I GET BACK” ~ AWWW ARE YOU IN THE DOG HOUSE TOO” * Bernie is about 12” tall in the sitting position he is in * If you have any questions, please ask prior to offerding * Thanks for looking & Happy offerding!
