CONDITION:
Great/Good vintage condition. The silk fabric is delicate, yet still intact, no shattering. I would not recommend wearing this to sleep in, but it could be worn for gentle activities, with much care. Upon close inspection, several faint yellowish age spots and marks can be seen which likely accumulated while the gown was stored over the decades. We have soaked the gown in some mild liquid soap and cool water, which lightened up most of these age spots, but most of them are still present, just faint. The most obvious one is in photo 4. While it does show its age, it is still so beautiful!
CONDITIONSCALE:
Wegrade our items on a scale from 1 through 8.
NOS/New Old Stock. No signs of wear, often with tags still attached.
Mint: little to no signs of wear (Often found in ballgowns and wedding dresses etc...).
Excellent: Only normal signs of overall wear and age such as overall fading, or tiny imperfections.
Great: Normal signs of wear and possible small, yet minor imperfections. Any flaws will be listed.
Good: Obvious signs of wear and age, yet still quite wearable despite a few flaws. Any flaws will be listed.
Decent: Obvious signs of wear and age, minor imperfections that could be repaired if desired etc... Any flaws will be listed.
Fair: Obvious Signs of wear, several imperfections. Would take quite a bit of work to make it wearable again. A project.
Poor: Obvious signs of wear. Imperfections that would make the garment unwearable, and would take a lot of repair, or possibly irreparable. Sold for study, display, or for “parts”.

We spend quite a bit of timeon our photos, and our listings, but every now and then a hole, or astubborn stain may pass us by unnoticed. If we have failed todescribe a flaw in our listing, then please let us know right away,and we will gladly take the return, and grant you a full refund uponits arrival.
