Material Sterling Silver
A unique and cleverly designed set with an enamel design that gives a shimmering relective color to the silver. The links are 3-dimensional with a sculptural quality (that look a bit like a Fleur de Lys), the top portion of the link is finished with blue enameling - on the underside - which then reflects onto the front of the link below. The resulting effect gives subtle color and shimmers and shifts depending on how the necklace moves and catches the light. It’s interesting with a construction that I haven’t come across before. Each link is slightly cupped in shape and measures 3/8”thick at its thickest point. There are no dents or irregularities to the shape of the links and there is no wear to the enameling so the original effect of the construction is intact. The silver has a briht patina with little surface wear and there are no signs of solder or repair. Overall this is a beautifully made and unique, sterling silver and enamel necklace, bracelet and earrings set, that was made in Mexico during the 1940s that is in Excellent condition.
