Beautiful length of vintage French brocade type jacquard in a darling smaller scale pattern. Lovely shades against a peach/apricot ground (the ground is deeper, richer than my camera captured as it wants to reflect light). I believe this is a silk or a very fine quality blend of it\'s period. The burn test indicates a clean burning thread without any chemical residue so is a natural fiber and does feel like silk though because fine imitation silk was also used in many French cloths and at times hard to distinguish, I will stay safe and call it a blend. I am also listing another pattern in a similar textile in another listing.
And excellent piece for home pieces a well as clothing and perfect scale for period doll pieces as well.
