These 6-inch Ideals were commonly carried in combat during World War II as private purchase fighting knives. This knife would make an important addition to any collection.

The blade tang is stamped \'MARBLE\'S GLADSTONE MICH. U.S.A.\'. This antique Marble\'s knife measures 9 15/16\" overall. The blade itself measures 6 1/8\". The sheath\'s snap is marked \'MARBLE GLADSTONE MICH.\'. antique WW2 Marble\'s Ideal fighting knife is in excellent condition. The blade has a perfect edge with no nicks. There is an occasional area of carbon surface finish patina on the blade. The handle is in perfect condition. Everything is tight on this knife with no looseness or wiggle. One side of the keeper strap\'s snap is missing. The stitches are missing from the lower portion of the scabbard--the rivets keep the blade protected with the scabbard. (Fortunately the missing keeper strap snap can be replaced, and the stitching can be re-stitched by River Valley Knife & Sword accepts Paypal, and other forms of payment--including credit cards.
