Beginning in the Golden Age of Comics, Walt Disney’s Comics and Stories #1 started one of the world\'s longest running comic book titles, continuing down until the present day. It is the longest running Disney-based comic book in history, making it their flagship title. While Action Comics #1 and Detective Comics #27 introduced Superman and Batman to the world (creating the modern superhero), this comic book gave us top quality humor and art, challenging similar books ever since to live up to its high standard.By the mid-1950s the title was the best-selling comic book in the United States, with a monthly circulation of over three million.
The current CGC census lists on 95 graded copies in any condition (although more are certainly out there), but this is still a rare and historic book for comic fans and Disney collectors. This is your chance to own an important piece of Americana at an affordable price. Don’t waste it!
