Another favorite piece from my father\'s Weller collection, a diminutive vase featuring fox kits peeking out from their den and with a flower frog top of crossed branches. No mark. One tiny chip on the back rim. The fox kit noses are amusingly smushed, prior to glazing and firing. Height is 6 inches to the top of the branch frog, 5 inches to the top of the vase. About 7 inches wide. Similar to the \"planter\" pictured in row 2, item 1 of The Collector\'s Encyclopedia of Weller Pottery by Sharon and Bob Huxford.
