This wonderful ORIGINAL WW1 US NAVY RECRUITING POSTER \"JOIN THE MARINES\" by Babcock and comes from the estate of a family from New Jersey and is one of several that I will be running.
In very acceptable condition for age (almost 100 years old) and has been stored rolled up in an attic since the war.
This NAVY poster is on normal poster paper, but does show some foxing, and one large tear (see photos), but no poster paper appears to be missing.
Rough edges and some foxing
It was photographed with a large sheet of plexiglass over the poster to keep it flat and some glare and shadows can be seen in the photos, especially the ceiling fan
It measures approximately 28 inches by 42 inches and will be shipped in a heavy duty poster shipping tube for safety, either USPS or UPS (your choice).
