you are admiring a beautiful, theater [india, burma?] made cbi, 1st air commando patch. the patch is in excellent condition. it would appear that the patch was removed from a flight jacket, and when removed, appx. 1/8\"-1/4\" of the black cotton cloth boarder was cut off in the process. the patch was black light tested, and burn tested, thus it is guaranteed to be wwll period original. the patch measures appx. 5 3/8\" wing tip to wing tip, and 4 3/8\" top to bottom. when you goggle the first air commandos, you will find an interesting history, even more interesting, is the symbology of the patch imagery.
