WW2 Japanese War Crimes Trials Patch and Indictment Document -
This is a really nice and hard to find theater-made patch for a US Army Military Policeman serving in Occupied Japan in the Japanese War Crimes Trials, as well as a 1946 Document from the Department of State outlining the Articles of Indictment against the prisoners.
Theater-Made Patch - Measures 3 1/16" wide x 3 9/16" tall, and is hand-embroidered in metallic gold bullion wire and green, yellow and white silk floss on a red and blue silk background. The patch is backed in tan silk. The design is of the Scales of Justice, a Lightning Bolt, a Sword, and three Stars.
Patch is absolutely dead under a strong UV Light..
Booklet "Trial of Japanese War Criminals" - Published in 1946 by the US Department of State, the 104 page booklet comprises the Opening Statement by Joseph B. Keenan, Chief of Counsel, the Charter of the International Military Tribunal for the Far East, and the Indictment against each defendant.
