WWII ORIGINAL M42 PARATROOPER AIRBORNE JUMP JACKET,PARACHUTE JUMPER AND TROUSERS THIS “COAT, “PARACHUTE JUMPER” ISTHE PATTERN ADOPTED IN DECEMBER 1941. ITIS COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE 1942. My husband purchased this set forhis collection Oct. 31, 1984, I have a copy of the cashier’s check and theletter that my husband purchased it from, I will send it along with the item ifit sells to whoever the highest buyer is.In my husband’s note to the person he bought it from he wrote “Theenclosed cashier’s check is for the mint WWII paratrooper jump uniform as wediscussed on the phone yesterday.” Iguess the key word here is MINT. - THE FRONT CLOSURE IS A TALON ZIPPER.
- BOTH OF THE ZIPPERS FOR THE KNIFE POCKET AT THE THROAT ARE TALON AND THEY ARE ALSO IN GOOD WORKING ORDER
- THE WAIST BELT IS PROPERLY ATTACHED. THE BUCKLE AND LOOP ARE BOTH PRESENT.
- ALL OF THE POCKET SNAPS ARE PRESENT AND ARE IN WORKING CONDITION.

- SHOULDER TO SHOULDER: 18”
- SHOULDER TO CUFF: 24”
- TOP OF COLLAR TO HEM: 31”
- THE ONLY MARKING THE JACKET HAS IS
- THE NUMBER 36 STENCILED IN THE BACK NEAR THE COLLAR
- AND THE WORD PICKUP HAND WRITTEN IN PEN ON THE COLLAR
- I HAVE TURNED IT INSIDE OUT, BLACK LIGHTED IT, LOOKED AT ALL THE SEAMS, INSIDE ALL THE POCKETS, DID EVERYTHING MY HUSBAND TOLD ME TO DO AND FOUND NO NAMES, NUMBERS, NOTHING.
