WWII US Navy Never Worn Grouping USS Pasadena Chambray Shirt T-shirt Boxers WW2
Price: US $590.00
This group consists of the effects of S2c Leo Hermann of Wichita, Kansas who served aboard the USS Pasadena (CL-65) during WWII. His effects were found in one civilian suitcase in his home. Some are in near mint, never worn condition. Especially rare to find like this are his chambray shirt, t-shirt, and boxers. While I do realize that a few of these items would bring a premium listed alone I am hoping that a Navy collector would be as enthusiastic to own this grouping complete as I was to find it. Most of these items S2c Hermann put away were freshly stenciled and never worn. I was able to locate several records of Navy Muster rolls that registered Hermann aboard the USS Pasadena. His serial on the rolls matches those on his effects. Also included is a letter concerning his taxes addressed to him aboard the Pasadena. I included an image clipping of the roll and will paste the source citation below. Part of this listing is a thorough itemized listing of each article. I have also linked further images. I have been as detailed about any flaws as I can. Please be sure to read the description before asking questions.
