Bottom makers mark reads: A-M SIGN CO. LYNCHBURG, VA. 5-56. Sign measures 16\" x 22\". This establishment was based in FAIRHOPE ALABAMA and shares a rich local history. Back in the day, Azalea Brand was quite popular and they put out a nice variety of products. This sign is nicely aged and has two distinctly different sides... one side has a more \"burnt orange\" coloration. A RARE southern Alabama sign for the advanced collector!
CONDITION:Sign has two bullet holes, aging, scratches, scuffs, light rusting, discoloration, fading and a bent misshapen flange. Has seen better days for sure, but has the right aged look which really lends to the character of this piece! Displays well.
