Zeiss Ikon Super Ikonta, code531/2, with f/3.5 105mm T-coated Zeiss-Opton Tessar in flash synchronised Compur-Rapid shutter, 1 second to 1/400th plus B and delayed action (self timer). The camera produces eight 6x9 images in colour or monochrome on standard 120 film. By means of a removable mask, it can also produce 16 6 x 4.5 images. However, as is almost always the case with cameras using a removable mask, the mask is missing. Thecamera is complete withits original leather ever-ready case in good condition.

The factory coated lens and synchronised shutter mean that this is a somewhat scarce post-war model.

The lens is clean and the shutter operates at all speeds. The coupled rangefinder isaccurate and the bellows are sound.

As the photographs show, the overall condition is very good. Body covering is cleanshows some wear and there are a couple of Zeiss bumps on the front.

The coupled rangefinder incorporates a double image.The focusing wheel is turned until the double images merge and the lens is automatically set to the focusing distance without further adjustments. The focusing wheel turns smoothly.
