Could this be that he is login at home and not borrowing an Ipad.

Hi Morgan, hope all is finding you well.
Just a curiosity I had not noticed until now.
I was on holiday and borrowed and Ipad and viewing Britbike forum I see members avatar pictures.
On my home PC I see signature line images, but no avatars (including my own).
A Preference setting I am missing?
