how do i install my UBB

Well there are instructions in the zip file as well on the site for setting it up.
There are also forums for WINNT and Unix setups aswell. Read the instructions in the zip file and if you still have difficulty please feel free to come back with your questions.

Oh i Have Win98 and i followed the instructions and when i click any of the setting to set up the forum , it says soem thing bout a error, i tryed 5 different servers and it showed the same thing

Are you installing this on a host, or your own in-house server? And what is the error you receive that you mention above?

im using a free server called F2S that supports cgi and i follow the manual and i get this error message that file not found

Okay, this is an installation issue. F2S uses UNIX for an OS. Please post a help request in the UBB5 UNIX Installation forum.

When posting in that forum, YOU MUST include the following information for efficient assistance:

1. Specific version of UBB5 you're installing.
2. Direct URL to the control panel (cp.html)
3. FTP software you are using

And possibly before posting, check to make sure you uploaded all the non-graphic files in ASCII-only mode and that the permissions are set correctly.
