I installed the ubb properly and uploaded it to mysite. But after i had configured the cplinks file and actually got into my cp.html file and clicked on the general settings link
it says You do not have permission to access the requested file on this server. What do i do?

1) version?
2) URL to your cp.html?

If you are on an NT server, the server administrator will have to set permissions for you at RWXD on all of the UBB directories and files. Be sure that your host allows third party cgi scripts. See the NT install instructions in the Customer Support area and in your zip distribution help directory. Check the host FAQ or support documentation.
