Intermittently when members post to our bulletin board (5.47a), that are getting the following message:

Sorry, we could not post your reply to this topic. Contact your bulletin board administrator and inform them that they may have may run out of available disk space. Their web host may be preventing them from posting new files.

Our Windows 2000 server has 15 Gig of free space and we do not have a disk quota.

Any help you can provide is much appreciated.

I wanted to add that I checked the file quota and this feature is disabled

We run 8 different bulletin boards on this server and I checked all the directories and do not see any 0 sized files in the members directory and see less than 5 in the other directories and all of these 0 sized files are from mid-2001 -- nothing recent.

That error occurs when the UBB was not permitted to create a temporary file before creating a topic.

I would advise upgrading to 6.1.0.4 for improved error checking...

The error is caused by the way that UBB detects out of space conditions.

The detection in versions prior to 6.1.0 was faulty and could sometimes cause the error noted above.

There's no way to correct this error, as there's not really anything to correct.. <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

It's not just you.

5.47d here and I get the same error once in awhile with plenty of disk space available.
