I recently pruned all the messages in every forum by date (90 days). Everything worked fine, except one thread would not prune. It's huge, 24 pages long, began May, 2000 and is not showing in the prune messages area on the control panel either. I've already archived it, any suggestions?

Version 5.46a Thanks.

We'll need to look at your board - what is the URL?

Can you delete that thread manually, or perform a move without leaving it in the original forum? If, when moving it, it does NOT get deleted from the original forum, then you might want to check permissions on the .cgi file for that thread...

I was able to move and delete it from it's current forum into any other forum. Unfortunately, I still cannot prune it, no matter what forum its in.

I just notice a number of thread we're not pruned. I got thread going back well beyond the 90 day cut-off I set. What should the permission be set at for these CGI's? I noticed when it writes the html pages, it sets them to 666.

Permissions should be 666 or 777...

Can you delete the thread via the link at the bottom? (As opposed to using the Prune cpanel)

Yes, deleting is not a problem. Only pruning.

You might want to open up a support ticket (select Malfunctions from the dropdowns and hit Go) for this then..
