Hi, just upgraded to 6.2.1.1 (Or whatever it's called...the newest version anyway LOL)

When we are posting new replies to topics, it used to take us back to the topic and display your new post. Its not doing that now <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> You have to refresh to see your post and obviously this is going to affect the server load over time.

Is this a bug or is there something I can do to fix this?

Cheers xoxoxo

As you can see, we are trying to fix this ourselves but not getting anywhere.

If refresh and then you get the new post then the problem is in the proxy not in the ubb.
Any way I think it would be great if the html file will change its name in the cache when ever a new post is presented

I don't think it's the server I'm on. I've been running ubb software, on the same server since may 1998 and I also have the same problem, since installing ubb 6.3.

You post a message or response, and it hangs on the redirect page.

I was going to send a support ticket, only to discover info pop wants all my password info. This is somewhat distrubing. My license expires next month, after owning this software for four year. I'm not going to renew, I'm going to look for a new program. I would rather start from scratch, then to revel my password info. Privacy statement or not. I'm not going to intrust a stranger with this info. you never know who's going to have access to it, and what they might do should they beocme a disgruntled employee.

Just a word of caution.

If you're that worried about security, why couldn't you give the password, let them fix your problem, and then change the password to something else? Seems a little paranoid to me.

clearchannel,

They need the password so that they can actually get on to your site and look at the offending file(s), see things in action, then fix the problem. If you are so concerned, then I would recommend changing your passwords after the Support Ticket. I have an infopop account on my forums that I give out when I have a support ticket, rather than giving out my admin rights.

If you been an Infopop customer that long you should have a good idea of how Infopop works. They've been nothing but trustworthy and respectable.

As SubZero suggested, if it concerns you that much you may change your passwords after the support ticket is closed. You can also examine your server logs to see what was accessed.
