in Forum Intro Text Disappears

Hello,

In UBB 6.5.0, Under Misc. Settings in the Control Panel, if you put a preceding
before the text it takes it, displays it properly on the forums.

However, the problem lies in the fact that when you go to change another Misc. Setting, it strips the "
" that is preceding the text field for "Forum Intro" section.

The problem is that you have to constantly re-insert the text if you want to submit changes to anything on the page, as it is there now is a missing
it updates it as not having it.

This is the designed behavior - whitespace above and below the intro text is removed.

If you absolutely must have whitespace, there are a number of ways to achieve the effect. What's the URL to your board? I can give you a few hints.

It accepts it just fine, and it puts the breaks in the Forum Intro as expected. The rub is that when you go to look at the text in CP later on the breaks are gone. If you submit any changes, it submits the Forum Intro text field without the preceding breaks.

I know I have to enter it every time, I just wanted to point out the behavior to you.
