Okay, let me try to explain this clearly...

Let's say you have a topic that appears in the "Last Post" column on the forum summary page. The subject of this topic is a 4-character word, so it does not get cut off with "...". Then if you later edit that subject to something longer, and it in fact does get cut off with "...", the 'title=""' attribute of that topic does not get updated properly; instead of displaying the full topic title, it dispays what is already on the main page (the cutoff version of the topic title).

I hope that explained it well enough...
