When using Code tags after 6.2, the post causes the table size to exceed the browser's width requiring the user to use scroll bars to view the entire post. In the past it was set to a percentage and does not do this with posts created prior to 6.2.

Was this an intentional design change or is this a bug. I am recieving much whining and gnashing of teeth over this one. Will this be resolved?

Thanks,
Tim

The code tags have changed in two ways:
1) UBBCode, Graemlins, and HTML are no longer interpreted within them
2) IE uses a slightly larger font now

#2 is probably the cause of the additional table distortion.

I would advise your users to use the quote tag instead of the code tag unless it's real code that they're posting. (The quote tag wraps text, while the code tag does not.)
