I'm a long-time user and I've upgraded plenty of times. Today I tried to upgrade from 6.2.1 to 6.2.1.1 and ran into an error.

I closed the board, uplodad the correct files (in ASCII mode), and ran the Upgrade UBB feature in the control panel.

I received the error message:
"Maybe you didn't strip carriage returns after a network transfer?"

Since I can't find this line anywhere in the UBB code, I assume this is an error returned by the server.

I then came to the support community and read the post:
6.2.1 to 6.2.1.1 -- Internal Server Error.

So I opened each of the files that were changed for this version in TextPad and saved them, then re-uploaded them. After that, things worked.

I can't see anything wrong with any of the files but I assume there's a non-ASCII character or an incorrect carriage return or something.

There is a chance that one of the files did not go as ASCII mode....
