Oops, I can't get a flock on the counter file.

That is the error message I get when going back to forum summary after being in recent visitors.

Now that i've had a chance...I looked into it a bit. It's dumping out when it's looking for this in a cache folder: ".date("Y-m")."-cache.cgi" I checked in /www/ubb/cache-*****/ubb_files/counter , and I couldn't find a file called 2002-01-cache.cgi

Maybe I just need to flush my cache and let it rebuild.

Set permissions on the cache directory, then try hitting the Accelerator.

It appears that has fixed the problem. Thanks Charles. Nothing like me goofing up in the first place this morning.

how to chmod cache dir? can u show me more detail?

777 or 755 for dirs or for files <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Chmod the cache directory and everything below it to be 777.
