Whenever a user checks the notify me by email of replies, my users are receiving a message with just the footer. Any ideas. I'm running UBB 6.2.0.

I tested the email members, and it worked properly.

Ya find out anything Charles? I did some playing this morning, and found it is isolated to the Email Notification of replies function.

Is this HTML email or text?

HTML email.

Just shows the template footer. and no subject line

Delete vars_wordlets_email.cgi and upload a clean copy from the zip, please.

Clean copy uploaded. Still not working.

Same for me. Switched to text. Opened support ticket. Upgraded from 6.1.4 or whatever the previous last version was.

This turned out to be a bug - the email Wordlet list isn't even being loaded when HTML email is used... Oops.. <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

The fix is to insert this line around 641 or so of ubb_new_reply.cgi:

&RequireVars("$vars_config{VariablesPath}/vars_wordlets_email.cgi");

(After "$message = &ConvertReturns..." and before
"my $s = &EmailWordletFixer;"

Did you do the fix that Charles posted?

He performed that fix on my board, and it is now working just fine <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Then I cleared the cache, waited an hour, tested it out - still the same problem.

Set to text-email now, but already have some users mailing me there is a problem with the email they're getting.
