I was informed by someone that they could not register to my site - they kept receiving the error:

So I decided to give it a shot. I logged myself out, then I tried to create a new account. I too received the same error.

I then deleted all my previous cookies, shut down all browsers, opened a new browser and tried to log in again. Same error.

I then checked my cookie settings (although I know cookies are working as the site was keeping me logged in/kept updating my posts) and ensured that I was accepting them all. Tried again, same error.

I lastly moved my own domain into the "trusted domain" area and relesed all security. Tried again, same error.

I haven't had any new members register since the upgrade - so this is beginning to worry me.

I am using IE5.5 128bit

FYI,

I just registered on your board and it went through the date bit with no trouble. The email I received had a blank user name, blank password, and blank email. Please kill my registration as it was just for test purposes. You may want to submit a trouble ticket through Product Support if you are having continuing problems with registration. I use IE 6.

We've recently tracked this down to users having inaccurate time settings on their computer.... please ask the user to make sure the time and date on their system is correct.

Thanks Charles.

Dave and I worked on this over the weekend and identified that problem. I've even updated the wordlet lists to let new members know if they come across that error again.

Can you tell me more about it, becouse in my just upgraded 6.2.1 ubb the new users receive balnk e-mails (balnk in data I mean)

That´s my problem too. No account information in the emails to my new users. Any solution?

That issue is completely, totally unrelated to this problem.

You neglected to overwrite your vars_wordlets_email.cgi file as directed in the upgrade text file. Please do so now.
