I was just deleted whole folder of default avatars then replace with my own avatars in same folder 'Avatars' they wont show up in my profile <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> I allowed avatars for everyone. everyone has custom avatars too.

I get blank page. my avatars just wont show up.
my avatars are gif's and jpg's

It has other folder 'custom' in Avatars folder.

http://www.buffybb.net/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=avatar_select;start_with=0;avatar_url=

If you load that in IE you will notice there is an error.. the yello triangle thing at the bottom left hand corner of the browser.. click that.

I noticed it calls for a ot_avatars_lib.js but that file is not provided.

Hmm yeah... it seems to be missing from the current 6.3 Beta ZIPs...

Grab it here and upload it to noncgi/Avatars... <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Do not just create the file - it should have been created when you hit the upgrade button.

Delete the file and then go hit the upgrade button.

Yes but what if you did a full install? It's not created then... and no one is going to hit the Upgrade button then. <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

The functions behind the upgrade button are called during an initial install.

FYI - while the OpenTopic avatar Javascript allows for multiple directories of avatars, the UBB avatar model does NOT allow this - you must place all avatars in the Avatars directory. (The OpenTopic avatar code also requires that all avatars be sequentially numbered, something that the UBB avatar model doesn't require.)
