UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums UBB.classic [Archived] UBB.classic Bugs [FIXED - 6.7.1] Recent Visitors not tracking refferers from outside

I have a ton of users (hundreds per day) coming into one of my forums, but the Recent Visitors is not picking them up at all. It picks up people that enter the forums from the main page, but not from an outside link. This started when I just switched from 6.3 to 6.7. I just cleared my visitor info, all it did was wipe my record <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> Is there a file to edit so I can put my record back anyway? I have confirmed the real usage through my web logs and see everyone coming in.

Don't link to the Accelerator - link to the main script. Have them come in through http://www.sbtontheweb.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi/forum/23.html instead.

Though the Accelerator SHOULD be picking up on the fact that the user doesn't have a current session, and should forward them to the main scripts anyway...

This just started during the upgrade. I'll put out some new links such as above and see if anything changes.

OK I posted with the new link you gave, and have over 100 people from those new links on right now, looking in my weblogs. Not a single one from any of the links is counted on the board. It's been over an hour I've been watching it. The visitors is contstantly changing, counting everyone else who came in the front though.

Any other ideas?

I opened a support ticket 2 days ago, it got assigned today. I hope this is resolved shortly, I am missing tons of stats!

I'll be looking at your ticket later today. I suspect this is a settings issue.

I don't have the email with my support ticket url here at home, and can't find any link to check status on your sites.

CHarles this lack of feedback is bad customer service - I paid the bucks for the supprt and I'm not even getting a status. It's been over a day with no word. Are you working on it? Time frame?

The problem was patched, I am monitoring the board over the next couple hours to see if it is fixed.

This bug is fixed in the 6.7.1 release.

For record keeping purposes, this fix landed in rv210.2.6.
