I cannot send bulk emails nor create an email list on the server. When sending bulk email, UBB looks like it is sending them but only the first 17 emails are send...then the rest are not. <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />

No error messages. It looks like it is working but it doesn't. If you have this version, try to create a file of email addresses on your server. See what you get. Are they all there?

I'm unable to duplicate the problem on my boards by creating a file of email addresses and viewing it in the browser.

Have you modified any of the stock (original) files that came with your forum?

I ordered a "professional" upgrade from Groupee from a previous version 6 self installation which was completed by Groupee on 11-14-05. No original "stock" files were changed.
I have an 11 day old open service ticket and they are confirming that there is a bug in the datbase they are trying to fix. If it is truly a bug, it is interesting that you cannot duplicate the problem. If it is not a bug, I wonder why they cannot fix it?

I wonder if the conditions of your test are the same as mine. Did you attempt to create a file on your server containing "all" member addresses or just a partial list? In my test, I searched for "all" members to send to a file but only got a list of 17. How many email addresses did your file contain?

I'm running the same build that is running here at UBBCentral and I did the All Members Quicksearch and returned all of my results. It almost sounds like your Member Metadata is wonky. Have you run the Rebuild Member Metadata feature recently?

I just rebuild Member Metadata. When I exported the email list to a file, I got 25 addresses out of 900! Same when I sent it to a browser window. I am curious. Why has Charles Capps identified it as a program bug, my site doesn't work, and yours does???
I'm sorry but my confidence in UBB has been shattered!

BTW, I am user #1 and my own email address does not appear in the list!

OK. The problem seems to be resolved. Thank you for your attempts to help. Here is the reply from Mr. Capps:
"The problem ended up being an obscure Perl issue -- we told it to join together an array, and it decided to randomly drop elements of the array when they weren't defined, which was unexpected. This lead me to believe that we'd again mis-indexed the fields, thus the resulting confusion. (It's even more fun because the problem only happens on certain servers running certain Perl versions... sigh.)"

Glad to see that your problem is resolved. My Server is running pretty recent software (I keep the software updated myself) so I'm not running the magic combination to cause the behavior you are seeing.
