Version 5.3 of both the PERL and PHP packages have been posted into the registered users area. The new features for this release basically deal with database speed. New main topic indexing and a new option to only show X number of days of active threads by default to keep things fast.
Although the PHP version was still in 5.2 beta mode, it was ready to come out stable and with the new features added the version # was bumped to 5.3.
