Beta 2 is now available for download. This adds one patch to keep duplicate posts from being added to the forums and a whole slew of bug fixes, some fairly major and some minor. Most all files in the admin section have been changed and a good majority of the others as well. You will not need to recreate your databases. Just untar the program and edit your variables and you should be good to go.
