How about a second reply button called "Private reply" with which one can make a reply only to the poster. Of course it is possible to click on the user and then Send private or use the navbar at the top, but it would be nice to make it easier since I get a lot of posts which should really be private messages. The subject should also be the same as in the original post that is replied to, and maybe there should be a link to the post when the reciever is reading the private message (just in case he/she has forgotten what was written).
Does anyone understand what I have written? =]
