Is there anyway to configure sticky threads now?

If there isn't, are there any plans to add this into a future release?

If I understand your question correctly, the way to specify a thread as "stick" is to click on the edit button in one of the posts from that thread (assuming you are a moderator of the forum, or an administrator), and then select the option to "Make Thread Sticky".

I would suggest editing the title of the thread you're making sticky to include "PINNED:" to help avoid confusion from members wondering why the threads aren't sorting correctly by date.

I was looking for a specific menu option instead of looking at it from the individual thread point of view.

I guess I should look around more before I waste other peoples time with questions...
