I asked this in an e-mail but never heard back.

Will 5.1b include two (in my mind) very important features:

1.) Moving the config files (w3tvars.pm, w3ttheme.pm) out of the main area, so that they bulk of the CGI's can simply drop in replace the existing CGI's, and then make the necessary changes to the .pm files?

2.) Will the "non-cgi" perl files be moved somewhere else? having things like "altertable" default to being in the same directory as newpost.pl is probably not the best plan in terms of security. Sure, I have mine set up so that they're not accessible, but wouldn't it be better if they were somewhere "completely outside the tree". Maybe something where you crack open the tarball, and it has the "web site" and has a completely seperate section of "support files" (altertables, etc. etc. etc.) so that those don't get put where a web server can find them by default?
