I'll appreciate a per forum option to display a caption (defined as a parameter fixing the number of chars to display) below subjects.
An alternative idea would be an additional field that will contain a summary and displayed under the subject if it's not empty.
This feature would open new usages of w3threads ( one could have a news forum with a journal presentation look).
Since we are going to get a w3threads template structure, this option will permit more flexibility to hack the code to adapt some forums to particular needs. I know the templates will not permit different presentions of the same forum, but I think we'll find some workarounds to get equivalent results.
