here is the small version of my feature requests that i would like to see in the main distribution. mainly things that will make it easier and Funner in using w3t.
1. on the user list, i would like to see status feild gone.
2. i would like to see a search button, maybe next to there name, to display all the posts that this user has made.
3. i would like an else statement so that instead of a purple bar it will show the table. color else { echo "& n b s p"; }
4. i think a better system of numbering should be used. instead of 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 maybe a system like 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 20 30 50 70 80 >> or a go to the last page or something like that. or maybe a A B C D E F G H I J K L M N O P and number system.
5. for users that dont' want there email adress displayed a simple form that you can email them from the w3t system.
in newpost.php:
1. make this post windwo default a little bigger. i just made mine 80 wide and i am about to make it 100 or more. and i believe that some people would love this, but don't know it is a feature.
2. people coming from ther boards don't know that they might be allowed to change there name if they are posting anonymously. (i noticed this while browsing the macfixit forums) and i added a blurb to my forum about that you can change your name if you are posting anonymously.
that is the shortlist of my list, most of the them are quite easy to add/modify and i will be doing them to mine shorty. my host is sucking, my site ain't up anyways. my site should be moving to another server shortly. thanks for reading, i guess this is more tips and hints and mods and hacks.
