We would really like to see this feature. Where we can purge the data like the last years posts from the system and still keep thread counts, message counts and number of individual posts. My community would have me hanged if I purged the database of old messages and the numbers of posts went from 33000 to 1000 or they went from one status to another becuase all their info was washed out with the purge.
Is there a way to purge or archive data so the actual forums database is smaller but the stats reflect the "Work they did" in making their communities what they are in terms of size and credibility. I see the utilities to clear out the old posts but I am afraid if I did that it would be the death of me <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />
