I set the derectory to UBB where all my images are. I go to style templets and try to change them to like a URL(ex.Http://thetss.netfirms.com/graphic.gif) and that still doesn't work.. How do i fix this so the images work?

Its a simple problem. I don't think i should use ticket for that. All thats wrong is all of the pictures i uploaded are broken..when shown on forum.

You must upload all the images you want to use in your style templates or on the board into your UBB directory.

Then, to add them to your template, you put in their name (i.e. picture.gif) into the spot you want them. Don't use a URL, it won't work. For you to add images to the templates, the images need to be uploaded, in binary, to your UBB directory.

It could also be that the location of your UBB directory is wrong. Each server is different as far as placement of this directory goes, but typically you should place this directory in the same area as your HTML pages are located.

If this doesn't resolve the problem, then yes, a ticket will probably be the way to go. That way, we can take a closer look and see if something else is causing the problem. <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Thanks kristi I will move the images to my /www/ thats my noncgi thing. Then i will rederect the loctaion to that. <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Hope it works ^_^

Hi, mine was a problem with the serverroot so it seems. I had my ubb (non-cgi) folder on the same level as my cgi-files folder. Put the ubb folder under the www/data folder, changed vars_config.cgi to reflect the move and hey presto!! <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
