I moved my site on to it's own machine yesterday and everything is working fine except for sendmail. The path to sendmail /usr/sbin/sendmail is verified and correct but UBB appears to be unable to send email. At least I don't get the carbons of the user registrations anymore. Is there something else I should be checking? UBB 6, 8.1

Any scripts I can install to test sendmail?

Is the option enabled in the UBB settings to email the admin on new registrations? Did you verify the email address to be used in these emails?

No I have that disabled. It should however email me a carbon when I approve new members. Email address is correct. Maybe try a different address? Does UBB use the -f option when it connects to sendmail?

Seems for Sendmail, it uses -t and -oi. I don't see the -f.

I got it to send email now. Interestingly I guess it no longer sends a carbon when you approve new users.

Now if I could just figure out how to check my mail on the new machine.

Double check your control panel settings. I get a notification of every registration on this board and a CC of every aproval or denial.

Well I emailed myself using the control panel and that worked. Just no carbons with the new members now.
