I have successfully set up my board...so it told me, but when prompted to set up my new internal admin , it comes up with Internal Server Error.

The infopop logos are also missing on that page where it prompts me to set up my admin.

Help appreciated.

The images have not been uploaded in bianry. Reupload them in binary.

Regarding the ISE, ensure the correct path to perl 5 is specified in ultimatebb.cgi, it was uploaded in ascii and is set with 755 permissions.

Thanks, I uploaded in binary, and I now have the pics.

I didn't quite understand what you meant with the second part of the answer...what I now did was replace the # at line21,24,26, on the ultimatebb.cgi, then uploaded again in ascII, and set permission to 777.

When I now click to register as the first admin, I get this Software Error (I'm not sure how to translate this):

DO NOT modify any of the cgi files in such a way (removing the #'s). It is not necessary unless you are installing on a server with mod_perl. If you're not, you'll just make matters worse. Please upload a fresh copy of the UBB, unmodified.

What mjrand was referring to is the first line of the cp.cgi and ultimatebb.cgi files where the path to perl is defined (e.g. #!/usr/bin/perl). Please verify that path is the correct path to Perl 5 on your server.
