I lost our UBB 6.2 so I'm installing a new one.

The new one is located in a new folder on our root. The old folder was named ubb, the new UBB folder is named tempnewubb.

I'm keeping what's keft of the old one because our WPP is still trying to restore it from his backups. If he's successfull it will save all of our client's posts.

Here's my question:

Do I have to have our WPP change the paths on his software or can I do it?

From IE I entered /tempnewubb/ultimatebb.cgi but got;

"There was a compilation error while loading the UBB.classic libraries and data files:
Can't locate /ubb_lib.cgi at /usr/home/comcom/tempnewubb/ultimatebb.cgi line 79.

Please make sure that you uploaded the CGI and Variables files to the proper directory, permissions are set properly on the files, and that paths in the control panel are set correctly."

I ran the ubb6_test.cgi and got all oks except for the paths.

Our orginal UBB was installed by a professional, so this is a bit new to me.

Thanks,

Kerry
