hey guys..

I just recently installed it.
I ran cp.cgi to install the ubb, but then when I go get my admin password which takes me to the ultimatebb.cgi, it gives me an compilation error.

anyone has any ideas?

The error message isn't really that helpful unfortunately.

Ensure ultimatebb.cgi has been uploaded in ascii and is set with 755 permissions.

Also ensure that the Members directory is set with 777 permissions

ok.. I already checked that, and seems ok to me.
I think it's a problem with the code written in ultimatebb.cgi

can you send me a code that you are sure is working? So that maybe I can compare it..

Have you edited any of the code in ultimatebb.cgi? If you do not have a new copy of the file, redownload a new copy of the zip file from the Members Area.

awesome.. it works now.. thanks.. now my question is, why do I give a person a custom title, and how do I add user levels?

and where do you edit when (number of posts) for a user to gain another level.

can this be done?
